We adopted a sick 4-year-old cat toward the end of August and it took a little over two months for her to fully heal. While she was ill, she was very sweet/cuddly and made lots of biscuits but now that she's feeling better we noticed some odd behavioral changes..
She growls and runs at the front door if she hears people p***ing by or even sees people outside the window
She licks people's hands and bites them in between the licks, sometimes hard enough to leave indents on the skin
She chases our feet to bite us right on our ankles and toes only if we aren't wearing shoes
Does anyone else's cat groom/play similarly?? And do you know of any effective ways to redirect a cat from biting or growling at people without using water?
(I've had cats my whole life growing up but never met a cat that acted this way and as I was typing this out I'm just now realizing she might've been raised with dogs..)
